Welcome to my site! I'm Pawel Korczyk, and I'm Social Studies and IB teacher in Alberta, Canada. I've been teaching IB History since 2015 and since 2019 I've embarked on teaching IB Global Politics. It's a course that's new to IB - which also means that when I started to prepare to teach I noticed fewer resources than I've seen for other courses. When I was a new teacher, I appreciated so much having readily available resources to help be the best teacher I could for my students. When COVID-19 made us pivot to teaching remotely, I found making short videos tied to my lessons helpful for teaching and student revision. After some pretty great feedback from colleagues and students, I decided to share my work with the global teaching community. I hope many of you find the videos and other teaching ideas here helpful. I hope to continue building out the site further, and eventually focus in on some of my strategies around IB TOK connections and ATL as well.
